Mitiga Solutions is proud to share that we have been awarded funding through the EIC Accelerator, securing €2.4M in grant financing along with 6M equity investment, a major milestone that reinforces our commitment to building a more resilient, efficient, and climate‑ready energy system. This support will enable us to scale the world’s first climate‑risk intelligence solution built specifically for energy assets, from renewables to the electric grid.
This highly competitive support from the European Innovation Council validates the strategic pivot we initiated in 2024. In partnership with one of the world’s largest pure‑play renewable energy companies, we built the first climate‑risk intelligence system engineered specifically for energy operators, designed to quantify high-resolution insights into how climate risks damage and age each asset, clear tracking of how performance declines over time, and precise estimates of the financial and downtime consequences.
This work is powered by validated, high‑resolution climate models, 92% accurate against ground‑truth data, and incorporates more than 40 climate‑risk variables tailored to the engineering realities of solar and wind assets.
For the energy sector, where infrastructure is expensive, mission‑critical, and increasingly exposed, this level of specificity isn’t a “nice to have.” It’s essential.
