The CARMINE project “ Climate-Resilient Development Pathways in Metropolitan Regions of Europe” aims to strengthen climate resilience in European metropolitan regions by developing impactbased decisionsupport services, Digital Twins, and multilevel governance frameworks for local adaptation. The project cocreates actionable tools and strategies through Living Labs across eight Case Study Areas, integrating NatureBased Solutions, socioeconomic analysis and highresolution climate information.

CARMINE bridges science and practice to help cities anticipate climate risks, design effective adaptation pathways and align local actions with the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change. Mitiga coleads the Barcelona Case Study, contributing advanced risk modelling and highresolution downscaling to support urban resilience planning.
